Thank you for your response. I would appreciate any help you can give me.  It was a Christmas gift for my son that I really could not afford and he went to the jewlery store to have it fitted and was told it was fake. My son feels very hurt for me and I am so embarrased for being fooled.

I bought the watch for my mother. She had been out of town and just got the watch last week. She took it to a Rolex authorized dealer today and discovered that the watch is considered a non-genuine watch because the parts are non-genuine, mainly the bezel (which we were aware was an aftermarket bezel when we bought the watch) and the crystal is also a non genuine part which now has water in it. Let me know what progress you have made.

How were you able to get your money back? I paid about $3700 for the watch I got. I'm wondering if I could get my credit card company to help. Also, how were you able to get an authorized Rolex dealer to look at your watch to appraise it and determine if it was authentic? The Rolex dealer here said no Rolex dealer would touch that watch because it had non genuine parts.

Yes we did find this out when we went in to see about an extra link, the sales woman was rude and condesending to my wife, saying it was an "old" Rolex.
I decided not to have it appraised. What is the next step to do here?

Hi, I was researching Quick Drop of Atlanta, and I have been sold some bad Rolex watches. They will not back them up, and have left me in a pinch. I had a jewler appraise my watches also, and the same thing happened to me that happened to you. My Rolex was not the same inside as outside. It had an old movement that did not match the Rolex outside. The others have poor quality bezels...
What ever happened with you? Did they take back your watch? I think I may need to file claims...
They have been very rude to me when I told them about the problems. Michelle Gordon left me some very nasty e-mails as to my character! She really turns on you when you have a problem.
My name is XXXXXXX
my phone is XXX XXX-XXXX.
If you can, let me know what happened to you with them.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
XXXXXXXXXX

Thanks, I wrote Michelle a letter lining it all out that I expected a full refund, and Of course no reply.
They are horrible!
Thanks for keeping me in the loop.
I found out that one of the Rolex watches has a totally fake knock off Jubilee bracelet.
Good Grief!

hi thanks for the information. I am just sickened. I have been meaning to take my watch in to check on the clasp. I get a rash on my wrist every time I wear my watch. Its about the size of a quarter, and shows up in the same spot everytime. It is where the clasp is touching my skin. I kept thinking there is no way the watch is causing this.

I am going to take it in to see if I can have the clasp replaced. I can send you pictures of the rash and where the watch is on it if you are interested.

I will be following up with some of your leads. Thanks again

this email would have better served me before I paid or before I left feedback. My watch did not appraise for the listing and they offered a full replacement of my money or a discounted price on the watch. Michelle told me that they would make me happy just to tell them what I wanted and that they would accept

I had a chance to speak with this person. The watch diamond bezel and dial had the wrong diamond weight and clarity. This was taken from a Quickdrop site: Very high quality diamonds added after market: VS 1 clarity, F color. Approx. 1 Carat diamond custom bezel set on 18K solid yellow gold. We have heard of cases where the Gordon's have made offers like this before and never made good. My advise to anyone with this offer, is to get your money back. If you are having this many people complain with various complaints, how can you really trust the new watch or Quickdrop.

I purchased a Ladies Rolex last fall from QUIKDROP.  I previously owned a ROLEX which was stolen, so when I received this one, I had a feeling it wasn't the real deal.  When I removed the band (which is supposed to be 14 kt.and ss) the serial numbers and model numbers didn't match the appraisal numbers. (I thought Rolex bands were 18 kt. and ss.  I was told that the older bands were 14 kt.???) When I contacted them, they sent another appraisal and guess what? It was also wrong.  Michele Gordon told me that my watch was 1980's. According to the serial number, it is 1960's. I had a hard time finding info. on the model number.  I waited too long to do anything about it. I was too embarrassed to take it to an appraiser. They would just confirm what I already know.  Also, it runs 5 mins. slow every 4-5 days and when I called Michelle, she told me to get a winder.  Since I previously had a real Rolex, I know this is hogwash.  In March, my watch stopped running and Michele called me to have me "re-wind" the watch---which of course, didn't work. She was "surprised" when it didn't work.  I sent it back to be fixed. It'll stop again, I'm sure. I am sick over this. Never again will I shop for something like this on e-bay.  QUICKDROP needs to be investigated.

Tim,

Here is my experience in a nutshell.

(1) Like you and most people, I was duped by the listing on eBay. When I placed my bid ($1800) I thought to myself, "there is NO WAY" I'm going to win this auction since I know these watches are worth $3K-$4K used.
(2) As soon as I got the notice that I won I started to think "this is not right" and decided to think about it for a day or so. Started to receive emails from the Gordon's asking for payment and suggesting I use a different payment method than paypal. One more day passed and I got a note demanding payment and suggesting they have legal means of ruining my credit. I paid for the watch.
(3) After ten days or so (I suppose so they can make sure to have all their money... something I suppose I understand) the watch arrived. I was disappointed that it did not come in ROLEX packaging, had no ROLEX TAG... etc. (I actually own a datejust I bought in 1989 so I know what the real stuff looks like)... but when I first looked at the watch itself, held it in my hand (it felt like a ROLEX) and put it on, I was (initially) pleased.
(4) So, like a good eBay'er, I went to the web site and provided positive feedback.
(5) As soon as I did that I got an email warning me of you and your "criminal activity" and asking for my assistance at dealing with you. They wanted me to send email headers, etc...
(6) I chose to escalate the whole thing to eBay saying it struck me as odd that a dealer would treat their customers as such.
(7) I began to notice that the band did not really fit my watch... it hung at the joining to the watch (the band was slightly wider than the watch itself). The band did not clasp easily when I put it on or took it off. The ROLEX stamp on the band clasp was not as clear and bold as on a real ROLEX watch band.
(8) When I got your email and looked at your site it was clear to me I had bought a fake ROLEX
(9) I sent the Gordon's an email stating that I had contacted my credit card company's fraud department, and that I was sending them the watch and wanted a refund. I stated that the band did not fit the watch and there was no ROLEX tag on the watch as pictured on their ad on eBay.
(10) I immediately got an email stating that I was "joining the ranks of the criminal Tim Wells" with an attempt to engage me in a dialogue much like the one you had with them. My response was simply "refund please.... I'm sending you the watch" to all their emails. They attempted to call me several times but I chose not to dialogue with them verbally.
(11) They finally did send me a note stating "I will receive an email with shipping instructions".... a note followed in a day or so. They asked for a 10% processing fee which I said OK to since their advertisements state such.
(12) This morning my refund less 10% was credited to my bank.

For your records... here is the text of the note they sent me when I first asked for a refund and escalated this with eBay. By the way, I never agreed to "help them prosecute you"

"We look forward to working with you to resolve this eBay matter. (Although we are disappointed in your decision to align yourself with Timothy E. Wells rather than honor your prior committment to us to help us and eBay Trust and Safety in prosecuting this criminal.) Please review the following articles on eBay and the internet regarding Rolex Tudors and we look forward to talking with you about them and your eBay listing description early in the week.  Please look up Rolex Tudor on eBay Reviews and User guides, eBay guide # 10000000000821781 and #10000000001699288. Also, please search Rolex Tudor on Google and read the first 10 results."

Lesson: "caveat emptor" (buyer beware)    ;-)

Why look up eBay review and user guides.( I didn't know they are in the business of Rolex watches) Just take your watch over to your local Rolex dealer, and see who is BS ing  who.

Don't let the Gordon make you believe that I'm the criminal.  I'm not trying to sell you anything, all I have done with this website is give you the tools to make your own decisions. If Ebay wanted to prosecute me for whatever reason, (and they have none)  the first thing they would do is kick me off of eBay and close my account.  My account is very much active.  This is another pathetic ploy of the Gordon's

Hello Tim,

My name is XXXX XXXXXX, I came across your website and I have been scammed by them. I purchased a rolex from them that's not a 100% ginuine rolex as they indicated and they are telling my I can't get my money back unless I remove the negative feedback which I have refused to do. I have alerted my bank about this issue and they advised me to send it back to her although she has indicated that she was gonig to refuse my package all together. She has sent me threatening emails telling me that I would never recieve my $4,00.00 back that I paid for a rolex watch. what I don't understand is why ebay is still allowing her and her many companies on ebay scam people. Your website has been very helpful not only to me but I have shown others on ebay as well.

Thanks,

Dear timrdi,

Hi Tim
Just saw your message here in the ebay messages. Sorry! I had sent you an email outside of ebay, via gmail and didn't hear back.
I got all my money back right away, but still left neutral feedback. They were pretty rude about it, and then did a mutual feedback withdrawal which i refused, and then they did square trade mediation which i did and asked lots of questions (based on info i got from your website..thanks) that kind of shocked them. I did not agree to remove feedback.
Have you been involved in anything else with them?
how on earth do they continue to get such good feedback??My number is XXX-XXX-XXXX if you would like to call.
